Mainely Cupcakes, LLC is a North Carolina Department of Agriculture approved online family owned and operated home-based bakery with a state inspected kitchen. No! we are not from Maine! I started my business in February of 2012 after an unexpected family tragedy. It was only possible with the very much appreciated support and enthusiasm from family and friends. I wanted to do something to honor the memory of my brother, Edward “Maine” Lee Turner, Jr. Inspired by a reality television show, I left my corporate job, became a stay home mom, and Mainely Cupcakes was born. His childhood favorite dessert was a chocolate cupcake with a vanilla filling and I always enjoy making them. We love being able to bring gourmet cupcakes and cakes to any event whether it’s a baby shower, wedding, birthday party, anniversary or “just because”. We take great pride in our baked goods. You can taste the love that goes into every treat. Our mission is to satisfy every customer with a tasteful delight in every bite!

From illustrations to decorative writing, Cassandra’s imaginative being knows no boundaries. Your desserts can feature bold and fine flavors including fresh fruits, buttercream, vanilla, chocolate, pumpkin spice, coconut, and more. All of your personalized treats can be delivered and set up at your chosen venue in a variety of ways for further convenience. Additional desserts and treats available.

Baking cakes for my family has always been a fun hobby for me; however, after becoming a stay at home mom I naturally gravitated more towards the kitchen experimenting. Inspired by the reality television show “Georgetown Cupcakes”, I immediately redirected my attention from cakes to cupcakes because they were easy to manage and less messy when it comes to cleaning. So cupcakes quickly became my passion; and I’ve been baking Mainely Cupcakes ever since.

My event was incredible in part because of the awesome display that she put together which included my cake, cupcakes, cake pops, chocolate ribbons, and custom chip bags.
